Description:

Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders demonstrate significant
challenges with life experiences that involve time management, changing environments and participating in transitions. Communication difficulties can be a root cause for many of the inappropriate social and behavior episodes that can occur during these times. Visual strategies can be used effectively to provide support to students to help them appropriately manage these situations that are difficult for them. This session will explore simple solutions to solve sometimes major problems related to time, travel and transition.
