His sensory issues continue to obstruct attending physicians’ assessment of his vision, basic assessments of his temperature, blood, etc. All assessments of his total system would require that he be knocked out by some anesthesia because he would always resist any touch by the medical professionals. After all that had he had to be put through when he was a young child, the strapping, constraints so all tests can be performed, I’m sure these were all traumautic for him and still such experiences were vividly remembered, as he was diagnosed that he has photographic memmory, especially if needles poking him were painful.

I am very concerned that he may not wake up under some anesthetic treatment; and so I need to hear from other parents or physicians on how to deal with this problem. My son would need to be trained and understood by a very patient and knowledgable professional of the different gifts autistic individuals have.

Thank you for hearing me out.
