Hi there. It was nice to hear from you. I would love to keep in contact. I have a hard time with this website. I can't figure out how to manuever through...Anyway, I teach public high school and work with kids with special needs. If he has diagnosis and is on an IEP have them write the things that are frustrating you in there. they should be able to help with transitions. I know the teachers at my son's preschool are great. he is starting the public school on Monday but the 2 days of obersvation they were great. It was put in his IEP about transitions that is how I know it is possible. i am tired as you are too. it has been a battle and we have only had the diagnosis for 3 weeks. We had a meltdown in Target yesterday so shopping for me is a thing of the past. I really did like to shop...now I feel guilty b/c if I take him in public he can melt down and people stare and then I get mean. My mommy claws are out right now and I feel sorry who comes in my path :o). That hopefully will get better though. I look forward to talking with you further.
